In the first quarter of 2024, the iOS platform saw notable activity in the Food and Diet Tracking app category in Australia. Here's how the top apps performed according to data from Sensor Tower.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter experienced a dip in downloads from 11K to 5K, while weekly active users decreased from 316K to 240K. Revenue showed a downward trend as well, starting at $124K and ending the quarter at $79K.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner saw downloads fluctuate, peaking at 8K in late January and then settling to 6.7K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users started strong at 29K but saw a slight decline to 30K. Revenue trends were inconsistent, with an early peak at $2.7K before falling to $1.5K.

Calorie Counter - MyNetDiary showed a decline in downloads, starting at 3.9K and dropping to 2.1K, while active users decreased from 16.5K to 13.7K. Revenue figures also decreased over the quarter, from $8K to $6.2K.

Evolt Active had a varied quarter with downloads peaking at 4.1K in early February, then dropping to 1.5K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users started at 14.3K and saw a general decline, ending at 15K. Revenue was negligible and ceased after the third week of February.

YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet saw downloads decrease from 2.1K to 1.2K, while active users remained relatively stable, starting at 6.9K and slightly increasing to 5.9K by the end of the quarter. Revenue showed some fluctuation, with an initial $4.3K, a dip to $2.5K mid-quarter, and a rise to $4.6K before settling at $2.7K.
